Digital Freedom Network News (RSS) Feeds and Headline Syndication:
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution. DFN.org offers RSS feeds for use in news readers (aggregators) and Web logs (blogs). These feeds include headlines, summaries and links back to DFN.org for the full article. RSS feeds are free and DFN.org currently uses RSS 0.91, 1.0 and 2.0 for your convenience.
To subscribe, click on the RSS feed your news reader will accept and paste that URL into the program.

How can I access Syndicated News?
There are a number of ways to access RSS feeds. You can install a news reader that displays RSS feeds from the Web sites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once. After installing the news reader, you can add each feed manually from the Web site by clicking on the "Subscribe" or the "XML" orange button next to the feed.
An alternative to downloading a dedicated news reader is to use a Web-based news reader. For example, My Yahoo! users can now add RSS feeds directly to their personal page. If you do not have a Yahoo! account, Dogpile.com offers a free browser toolbar which reads RSS feeds and it also includes a pop-up blocker.
One last option to guarantee you or your site getting the latest DFN news is by placing our headlines on your webpage!
Get up-to-the-minute headlines from DFN.org displayed on your webpages. You can choose to see headlines from our front page, or any of our categories. All that's required for you to do is to cut and paste some HTML onto your site. You'll only need to add this HTML once, but your headlines will stay current, updating the same second we update ours.
This program will allow you to customize the look and feel of the headlines on your site.
